Holroyds is a local independent firm of Surveyors, Estate Agents
and Valuers, which has been serving the people of Dewsbury and surrounding
areas since 1897. Originally founded by Herbert Pickersgill and
later passing to Robert Holroyd, he in turn passed the firm to his
two sons John and Brian, who changed the name of the practice to
Holroyd Sons & Pickersgill.
The firm retained this name until recently when the present partners
Hearl Lenton and Jonathan Kidd took the reins from the now retired
Holroyd brothers.
Throughout the last hundred or so years the practice has sought
to serve the people of West Yorkshire and the Heavy Woollen Area
in particular to the best of its ability. We have always prided
ourselves on our personal service coupled with unrivalled local
knowledge. We believe client is King and we have remained completely
independent of financial institutions so as to ensure this remains
the case.
